About Jason
Jason Goette is the Broker/Owner of SoDak Realty, a locally owned real estate brokerage headquartered in Watertown, South Dakota, with additional offices in Aberdeen and Brookings. A long-time resident of Watertown, Jason’s deep knowledge of the community and surrounding areas allows him to expertly guide clients through residential, commercial, agricultural, investment, and development transactions across Eastern South Dakota.
Jason earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in software from Lake Area Technical College, providing a strong technical foundation that continues to shape his business approach. Leveraging his technology background, Jason utilizes modern marketing strategies, digital platforms, and data-driven insights to position properties effectively and deliver maximum exposure for his clients.
Known for his strategic mindset and hands-on leadership, Jason works closely with buyers, sellers, investors, and developers to navigate complex transactions with clarity and confidence. He is actively involved in new construction and development initiatives, partnering with builders and community leaders to support responsible growth throughout the region.
Jason believes real estate is more than transactions — it’s about building relationships, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for families and businesses to thrive.
Outside of the office, Jason enjoys golfing, fishing, and hunting. He and his wife, Stefanie, share a passion for travel and have set personal goals to explore and experience the world together.
